WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?

As a first step we are going to develop an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the International Standard ISO 14001.

This involves:

examining our business (operations
   and activities)
identifying those that affect our
   environmental performance
describing how they should be
   undertaken to minimise the
   environmental impact
setting objectives and targets for
   improving our environmental
   performance
giving staff the resources and time
   they need to achieve the objectives
   and targets

By putting all this together we will have an Environmental Management System. It will be described in policies, plans, procedures, etc.
